Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced the recall of the 2013-2016 models of Nissan Altima in order to add a rubber ring around the fuel pump so as to match the required specifications for fuel tank.
The ministry said the recall, which was taken in collaboration with Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Co Nissan, comes within the framework of the Ministry's continuous coordination and follow-up to ascertain the commitment of car dealerships to follow up and fix vehicle defects in order to protect the rights of consumers.
The ministry said it will coordinate with the agent to follow up the maintenance and repair of the defect, and will communicate with customers to ensure the implementation of the procedures and the repair of defect in the cars.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce urged all consumers to report any irregularities by communicating the Consumer Protection Department, which receives complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its channels of communication.
