IMB Qatar students' design
Doha: Istituto di moda Burgo, Qatar (IMB Qatar) showcased their fashion collection at Milan spring/summer fashion show hosted by Istituto di moda Burgo, in Milan, Italy recently at The Beach Milano.
The most Talented Five Burgo Qatar students - Khoulode Yousef Al Subey, Alanood Mubarak s. Almanaa, Wahiba Jiballah Daher, Bushra Al Hajjar and Pooja Bhatia were chosen under the guidance of institute head Meenu Prasad and management from Burgo, Italy to represent their collection and given liberty to be creative on concept called pigments.
The collection highlights the colour pigments (moods) which were created by the designers during the pandemic period. Each mood is associated with a colour that recalls and describes the multiplicity of feelings and reactions that fashion students have had and will have in this historical period.
Qatar students' fashion collection has sizzled ramp with various ideas like colour blocking, fabric manipulations with geometric and minimal shapes that meets Haute Couture with the elegance of minimalism.
IMB Qatar fashion students have nailed their creative and intellect design understanding on soil of Italy. Moreover, the fashion show was also graced by multinational students who are graduated recently at Burgo, Milan centre and holistically made the show a grand success.
