DOHA: The weather bureau has forecast rains with thunder and high winds at some places at times today. In its warning for today, the bureau said the seas will be high with strong winds that could blow at up to 56kmph and inland northeasterly to easterly winds could move at up to 65kmph at times. The bureau said it might rain all over the country today. Yesterday, Jehat Umm Baab south of Dukhan, received the highest rainfall of 4.5mm during the day. In the evening, many places, including some east of Dukhan, also witnessed rainfall.
Some places in Doha and other areas in the country also witnessed light rains and drizzle. In its forecast for today about day and night temperatures, the bureau said the maximum will be between 24 and 26 degrees C and the minimum between 20 and 22.
