The annual Afternoon Tea and Bake Sale at International School of London Qatar was animated, with a visit by Al Mashhadani and Al Twaissi of Qatar Cancer Society (QCS). A cheque for QR10,187 was presented to QCS which represented the school’s cancer fundraiser over the past one year. The bake sale supported by parents, students, staff and friends of the school community raised QR8,140. The school’s fundraising efforts will be enhanced with other events to promote ‘Movember’, the men’s health awareness campaign.
