Diploma of honour for Nasser

Ace shooter Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah poses with his diploma of honour received from International Shooting Sport Federation at the Losail Shooting Complex yesterday. Nasser was congratulated by President Mohamed Ali Al Maadeed, President of Qatar Shooting and Archery Association at Losail yesterday. Nasser received the diploma of honour from International Shooting Sport Federation for equalling two world records in the Skeet at the 12th Asian Shooting Championship held in Qatar in January 2012. Qatar’s sports icon shot 150 out of 150 to  equal the world record set by USA’s Vincent Hancock in 2007. The 42-year-old went on to win a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics Games in the men’s Skeet event. Nasser has so far competed in five Olympics, since making his debut at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. Nasser who is also a rally driver, won the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) in 2006 and the Dakar Rally in 2011.
