Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks ended sharply higher on Thursday, in line with a rally across Asia following a positive lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.90 percent, or 266.05 points, to close at 29,863.71.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.63 percent, or 20.60 points, to 3,296.38 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.45 percent, or 8.54 points, to 1,887.34.
