Doha: The Advisory Council’s Services and Public Utilities Committee yesterday met under its Rapporteur Saqr Fahd Al Mereikhi.
The committee continued its study, based on a request from council member Hamed Ali Al Ahbabi, on improving services to villages across Qatar.
Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning
H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani attended the meeting and offered his ministry’s opinion on the suggestion and responded to queries from council members.
The committee agreed to resume its study at a later date.
The Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee also held a meeting of the 44th regular session of the council.
The committee elected Nasser Serayea Al Kaabi as its Rapporteur.
