Doha, Qatar: Relatively hot days are predicted this weekend as the weather forecast for the weekend from Qatar Meteorology states that temperatures will range between 23°C and 30°C.
While relatively hot daytime with scattered clouds are expected for Thursday and Friday, the department cautions of thunder, rain accompanied by strong wind for Saturday.
The wind will be 5 knots- 15 knots Southeasterly-Northeasterly, gusting to 25knots at times.
The sea heights will be 1-3ft, rising to 5ft, except on Saturday when it might rise to 8ft during thunderstorms.
Meanwhile in a previous post, the department had said that Qatar is entering the Al-Sarayat season, which will continue until mid-May. This season is a period of weather phenomenon characterized by dramatic and unpredictable atmospheric conditions that can bring short-lived developing convective clouds that can quickly transform into intense thunderstorms.
