Doha: HSBC Regional CEO for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (Menat) Stephen Moss has congratulated Egypt and UAE for being confirmed to host COP27 and COP28 summits in yesterday’s announcement.
In a statement sent to the media, Moss said: “Congratulations to Egypt and the UAE on being confirmed as the host of the COP27 and COP28 summits.
"The Middle East will play a leadership role in the transition to net zero. Supporting all of our customers around the world – sovereign, corporate and personal – on their respective journeys is part of HSBC’s own commitment to helping lead the transition to a net zero global economy," he added.
