Doha: The General Traffic Administration announced that as of November 16, 2022, those found failing to comply with conditions for movement of motorcycle for delivery of orders will be considered as violation of Traffic Law issued by Decree No. 19 of 2007.
The rules and conditions for delivery motorcycles were defined and reviewed recently with the aim to regulate the movement of road users, which was announced by the General Directorate of Traffic in a press conference.
These rules come into force from November 16, 2022 reminded the ministry on its social media.
Rules and conditions include:
1. Order box must be fitted on the motorcycle
2. The helmet must be worn
3. The handlebars must be held with both hands.
It also reminded that delivery bike riders must also stick to the right lane of the road.
