Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met today with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, HE Masrour Barzani, who is visiting the country.
The meeting discussed cooperation relations and ways to support and develop them, along with a number of topics of mutual interest.
During the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the State of Qatar's keenness to enhance the prospects of cooperation with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in various fields, in a way that serves mutual interests.
His Excellency also highlighted the strong historical fraternal relations that bind the State of Qatar with the sisterly Republic of Iraq, praising in this regard the level of consultation and coordination between the two countries on regional and international issues in order to strengthen international peace and security.
