Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted a mosque in southwestern the Republic of the Niger, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries, affirming its full solidarity with the Government of Niger in all measures taken to maintain security.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of motives or reasons. The ministry also emphasized Qatar's absolute rejection of targeting places of worship and terrorizing peaceful civilians.
The ministry extended the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Niger, wishing the injured a swift recovery.
