Doha: A number of parents asked the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to oblige private schools not to ban access to the students’ academic reports for any reasons, whether financial or otherwise.
Such action may affect the psychology of students and puts them in embarrassment in front of their colleagues, they added.
According to complaints sent to this daily by some parents, the reasons are not related to payment of fees, but rather some other reasons that are not clear, as they paid the fees on time, yet the results were withheld from them.
“The ban of the students’ report is not only related to fees, but also to other matters related to some identification papers,” said one of parents who doesn’t like to mention his name.
Another one said that “this puts students in embarrassment in front of their classmates and authorities concerned should contact these schools to stop such decision.”
The parents have expressed their dissatisfaction with these schools, calling on the Ministry to communicate with these schools, as this type of behaviour affect the students and weakens the trust between schools and parents.
