Gaza: Five Palestinians were martyred and dozens more were injured on Tuesday as Israeli airstrikes resumed their bombardment of the Gaza Strip early this morning, resulting in hundreds of casualties.

A Qatar News Agency (QNA) correspondent stated that one Palestinian was killed and several others injured after an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced people in the town of Al Zawayda in central Gaza.

According to medical sources, four Palestinians, including a woman with disabilities and a child, were killed when Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians near the entrance to Al Rantisi Hospital in western Gaza City.

The death toll from the renewed Israeli assault on Gaza, which began early this morning, has risen to 419, with 528 others injured.

In a statement, Gaza's Ministry of Health confirmed that most of the victims are women and children. The number of injured continues to grow as a result of the ongoing airstrikes and explosive fire zones carried out by Israeli aircraft. The ministry also noted that some victims remain trapped under the rubble, with rescue teams unable to reach them.
