The distribution of prizes and certificates to the winners of Lulu Cookery Contest was held on Thursday at Lulu Group Regional Office on the D-Ring Road. Regional Director of Lulu Group Shaijan and Regional Manager Shanavas PM distributed the prizes to the winners in the presence of other Lulu officials.
In the Hot food category, Shaguftha Zahir Panwala, Sanjeeda Naheed and Arifa Bibi won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes; and in the Cold food category, Arshia Zafer, Merfath Abdulla and Sehba Naqeeb won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes. Besides, consolation prizes and certificate of appreciation have been given to all short-listed participants. Final judgement was done by the expert panel of judges namely Chef Noushad and Michel, Manager of Gerry’s Grills. Out of 200 applications received, 35 applications were shortlisted for the contest.
