The Preliminary rounds will be held in the morning at Aspire Academy. On Monday, the championship will conclude with the women’s team event. The Championship in epee is contested by 240 players from 45 countries. This year, the final rounds of the event is being held at the Gate Mall in a new move to attract fans. Chaiblaine Zinedine, a five-year-old, gets his first lessons in fencing at Aspire Academy yesterday.
