Doha: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Referees Committee has assigned a Qatari refereeing team to officiate the Japan vs Bahrain Asian qualifier 2026 World Cup Group C match to be played at the Saitama Stadium in Japan today.
The refereeing team comprises Abdulrahman Al Jassim (pictured) as the referee, Taleb Salem Al Marri as first assistant referee, Saud Ahmed as second assistant referee, Abdulhadi Al Ruwaili as fourth referee, and Khamis Al Marri and Mishari Al Shamri as video assistant referee. Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Abdo will be the referee assessor for the Iraq-Kuwait match to be held on the same day at the Basra International Stadium as part of the third round of World Cup qualifiers.
