Doha, Qatar: QIIB has revealed the two lucky winners of luxury McLaren cars, worth over QR2m, as part of its Visa credit and debit card promotional campaign, which ran from December 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
Customer Dr. Abdulrahman Hassan Ali Abusbeib won a McLaren Artura, while customer Ahmed Abdullah Hassan Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim won a McLaren GT. The winners were selected during a draw held at QIIB headquarters in the presence of a representative from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, along with several relevant QIIB officials.
The two winners will receive their cars soon in a special ceremony attended by QIIB officials, the winners, and invited guests.
The campaign allowed all QIIB Visa cardholders from the Wajaha and Diyafa categories to enter the draw by spending a minimum of QAR 50,000 on their daily transactions during the three-month campaign period.
Commenting on the announcement of the winners, Khaled Abdul Rahman Al Shaibei, Head of Business Development at QIIB, stated: “We extend our congratulations to the winners of our exceptional campaign in collaboration with Visa. These prizes are our way of showing gratitude to our loyal customers, as they are an essential part of our success story.”

The spending period was set at three months, with international spending allowed via credit and debit cards and local spending via credit cards. Additionally, we encouraged digital payments to promote digital transformation and increase customers’ chances of winning.”
