A high-level delegation from the International Handball Federation (IHF) visited the under-construction venues to be used during the 24th edition of the 2015 World Men’s Handball Championship which will be held in Doha next year. The delegation includes IHF Chairman of the Commission of Organising and Competitions (COC) Leon Kalin and IHF competition’s director, Patrick Strub and Philippe PANA, IHF member of COC. The delegation held a number of meetings and carried inspection visits yesterday. Qatar Handball Association (QHA) President Ahmad Mohammad Al Shaabi was also present.
France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga reacts after defeating Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff at ATP Marseille Open in Marseille, southern France, yesterday. Tsonga will meet Latvia’s Ernests Gulbis in the final today. Gulbis yesterday beat Richard Gasquet of France 6-3, 6-2 6-3, 6-2 in the other semi-final.
