Doha, Qatar: The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani on Monday received a phone call from HE the Secretary of State US Marco Rubio.
Discussion during the call focused on the Qatari-US close strategic relations and ways to support and develop them, particularly enhancing joint coordination on regional and international issues.
During the call, HE the US Secretary of State expressed his country's gratitude to the State of Qatar for facilitating the release of American citizen George Glezmann, who was detained in Afghanistan, commending Qatar's efforts to establish security, peace, and stability in Afghanistan and the region.
